As of 17th November 2017, safety company Pyroban is under new ownership after Caterpillar Inc. divested its 100% interest in the Pyroban Group.
The Pyroban Materials Handling and Pyropress Instrumentation businesses remain un-affected, but there will be significant opportunities in other areas of the business serving the oil and gas sector.
By operating outside of the Caterpillar distribution model, Pyroban can now work with all engine OEMs and packagers in the oilfield markets, offering explosion protection engine kits , components and packages.
