Pyroban will exhibit its active explosion protection technologies at IMHX, the UK’s largest logistics event, in Birmingham from 24 – 27 September 2019.
During IMHX, Pyroban experts will speak directly to existing and future customers about its range of explosion protection products and services to help manage the risk of ignition found in materials handling equipment (MHE) within the logistics industry .
Visitors will be able to learn more about explosion protection solutions for materials handling equipment used in Zone 1 and 2, where gases or vapours may pose an explosion risk, as well as solutions for Zone 21 and 22, where dust and powders present a risk of ignition.
Visitors can also see working examples of our gas detection systems; Gascheka (for safe areas ) and our ‘active’ system6000™ (for Zone 2), as well as learn more about our training offering for OEM field engineers for fault diagnosis, the importance of service support and annual auditing of explosion proof lift trucks by Pyroban’s fully CompEX accredited Service Engineers.

Marking 50 years since the beginning of “Project Pyroban”
For almost 50 years Pyroban has been at the forefront of the industry developing solutions to protect people and equipment when operating in hazardous areas. The ‘Pyroban project’ began in 1969 in the UK to provide explosion protection for industry above ground giving birth to Zone 2 areas in conjunction with the then UK government HSE.
