Pyroban® now has in stock (September 2021) a Cat® C4.4NA Hazpak™ 100 available for sale and immediate despatch. This is a rare opportunity to purchase an ATEX compliant diesel engine with up to 52bkW (Net) at 2100RPM off-the-shelf.
Certified to a high 45degC ambient temperature, the Pyroban C4.4NA HazPak 100 (as seen above) features a hydraulic safety shutdown system with local control panel and would be the perfect drive for small pumping applications offshore.
An air inlet shut-off valve , air inlet flame arrestor, exhaust gas heat exchanger, thermal control and treatment, exhaust flame arrestor and spark arrestor are all integrated into the explosion proof package.
The small ATEX engine package delivers a powerful 52bkW (Net) at 2100RPM and includes a heavy duty radiator with solder dipped core and stainless steel cooling pipe work and control hoses. This ATEX 3G IIA T3 engine is robust with all components specially designed and built for tough offshore conditions.
Pyroban has conducted all necessary engineering, testing and final ATEX certification , including all flame non-transmission testing and thermal testing in the Pyroban Dyno facility (as seen in the image).
The naturally aspirated ATEX engine is immediately available and is supplied with 2D drawings and 3D model to support customer design teams.
Don’t want the “plate type” exhaust flame arrestor?
The ATEX compliant C4.4NA engine is available now with the plate type flame arrestor installed, but there is the option to fit the new Ever Clear exhaust flame arrestor which significantly reduces maintenance requirements, ensures ongoing safety and eliminates any manual handling risks.
